Job Description

Seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior iOS Developer to join our mobile application development team. This role is ideal for candidates with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in iOS application development who are passionate about creating intuitive, responsive, and high-quality mobile applications. As a Junior iOS Developer, you will work closely with senior developers, designers, and QA engineers to build and maintain native iOS applications while gaining exposure to modern development practices and technologies.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain native iOS applications using Swift.
  • Implement responsive and visually appealing user interfaces based on UI/UX designs.
  • Create smooth animations and interactive user experiences that align with Apple's Human Interface Guidelines.
  • Build application layouts using Auto Layout to ensure compatibility across different iPhone and iPad screen sizes.
  • Collaborate with senior developers to implement new features and resolve bugs.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs and support backend connectivity.
  • Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and continuously improve development skills.
  • Debug, test, and optimize applications for performance, responsiveness, and stability.
  • Stay updated with the latest iOS development trends and Apple frameworks.

Pre Requisites:

Required Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Swift programming language.
  • Strong understanding of Auto Layout and adaptive UI development.
  • Experience implementing smooth animations and transitions in iOS applications.
  • Basic understanding of UIKit and the iOS application lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON parsing.
  • Knowledge of Git or other version control systems.
  • Understanding of debugging and performance optimization techniques.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in B.E./B.Tech, MCA, BCA, or Graduation from a recognized university.

Experience

  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience in native iOS application development.

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to SwiftUI is an added advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of MVVM or MVC architecture.
  • Familiarity with App Store deployment processes is a plus.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
